End of School

You may be wondering if I fell off the face of the planet or something, but I can assure you that I am alive and well. Since Spring Break, school life just seems to steam roll until it's over. Just a quick recap for you. In April, we hosted a youth camp at church. We had about 150 youth at the church. They slept in the classrooms that we have on the church compound. They had a blast. I think we really spoiled them. They got three meals, preaching in the morning and at night, Bible studies, and games. Plus one night, we showed a movie, Shaolin Soccer (a corny Chinese movie that is dubbed in English), and gave them popcorn. The last night of the camp, the youth got to do a talent show in their groups. Even though it was in Kiswahili, they were still fun to watch. At school, 5 out of 9 of my AP French students took the French AP exam on May 4. We were really practicing and I believe that they will do just fine. The AP (Advanced Placement) tests are scored from 1-5, with 3 being a passing grade. Depending upon the grade you get, you can earn college credit for the exam. So now I am in my last full week of classes, which included finishing up tests and starting review for the final exams. The Seniors are done as of next Friday. I am leaving to return to Colorado on June 3, so I am also very ready to come home. If you want to catch up with me while I am home, drop me an email and we can arrange something. Can't wait to see you all again!!
